Job Description:
This is a hands-on Kitchen leadership role. Your eye for detail and leadership skills will help you excel in motivating your team and driving company strategy across all aspects of the business.
- Leading the lounge chef team and representing culinary standards in our Lounge.
- Monitoring kitchen operations and staff to ensure standards are maintained.
- Training new lounge employees on company standards and regulations.
- Monitoring the performance of CDPs and Commis chefs.
- Ensuring all food products meet company standards.
- Overseeing Lounge kitchen operations.
- Leading teams and assigning tasks.
- Communicating with customers and addressing menu queries.
- Maintaining fully equipped kitchens with necessary tools and inventory.
- Ensuring high food quality and hygiene standards.
- Acting as the main contact between the Hub kitchen and Lounge operations.
- Assisting staff with food prep, plating, and orders.
- Creating and managing shift plans.
- Participating in menu presentations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in high-volume kitchens or hospitality.
- Passion for food and delivering top culinary offerings.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Leadership skills to motivate a team of chefs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP certification.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
