We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant/Senior Sales Professional to join Korn Ferry Digital, specifically focusing on our Digital Talent Management and Assessment Solutions. An Associate Client Partner is the level for seasoned professionals capable of conversing confidently and fluidly with executive level clients on all of their business issues and harnessing the full power of the KF enterprise and our offerings to co-create effective and profitable solutions. The focus of the role is to position enterprise-wide assessment solutions to help our clients with shaping their build and buy strategy.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities with existing clients and new logos, collaborating with HR and Business leaders on an identified set of large, highly strategic opportunities. You will accomplish this through the ability to sell the full scope of the company’s solutions in a consultative manner, collaborate with internal colleagues, negotiate an effective contract, and tailor solutions that address client needs.
You will be seen as a unique authority in Talent Management and/or Assessment and as such, be visible and influential across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrating strategic selling approach to identify, target, and penetrate companies with needs appropriate to company\’s services and products.
- Lead and expand existing portfolio of client relationships with senior human resources (HR) and business leaders to increase opportunities to further impact the client’s business success. Ensure project members are sufficiently enabled to meet client expectations. Lead the assessment and measurement of the impact of our work on our clients business.
- Selling solutions that are often integrated (cross-category e.g., Learning and Development and Assessments) or meeting a variety of complex business challenges. To achieve this, cultivating senior relationships, identifying new opportunities, and key account management skills are critical.
- Demonstrate a deep level of knowledge across your specialist category area, acting as a trusted advisor, both internally and externally.
- Develop hypotheses about client business issues based on sound analysis plus client, sector and industry know how. Manage relationships with top thought leaders in their field globally, developing networks of influence that greatly increase opportunities for KF and move the firm to the forefront of leadership in the field. Speak at national or international forums in their area(s) of expertise, enhancing the KF brand. Lead and/or contribute to thought leadership and /or research. Plans for resource needs and implements strategies to ensure KF resources are used effectively to meet client needs.
- Maintain and expand long term relationships for the purpose of generating new and yield/cross-sell business.
- Demonstrate high levels of coordination and influence of multiple internal stakeholders to drive the account and related projects.
- Prepare complex proposals and solutions that require creativity, entrepreneurialism, and specialist knowledge.
- Demonstrate an ability to engage with the client\’s technical buyers and debate the merits of KF\’s products.
- Analyse specified problems and issues to find the best technical and/or professional solutions.
- Be very well networked across KF and able to persuade and encourage Consultants to adopt KF Digital solutions.
- Track and update client information and opportunities in customer relationship management systems.
- Prepare presentations and sales contracts.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience in account management including large strategic account management.
- Experience with developing new business and maintaining client relationships.
- Established network in DACH with potential key decision makers
- Entrepreneurial, bold, and creative – understanding the deep-rooted challenges within an account and positioning broad solutions to fit.
- Significant experience in designing and strategizing assessment solutions that address complex business challenges
- Deep expertise in Talent Management and/or Assessment & Selection, with a deep understanding of how Korn Ferry’s broader solutions support business issues.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Strong pipeline analysis and opportunity forecasting skills.
- Strong customer-centered selling skills.
- Ability to present and defend point of view constructively and persuasively.
- Insatiable curiosity and drive to succeed. Perseverant and upbeat.
- Understands how to work with senior level management. Solutions oriented.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor\’s degree preferred. An advanced degree in business or in a similar field is a plus.
