The Headteacher and Governing Body of St Andrew’s C of E Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and effective teacher/SENCo to work in our happy and successful school.

The successful candidate must have the following:

A passion for teaching and learning and the ability to inspire children

High expectations that promote excellent learning and outcomes for children

The ability to teach creatively and be an excellent classroom practitioner

The skills to ensure children have fun and promote a love of learning

The ability to promote confidence and ensure children are happy

Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum with particular specialism within a core subject

Ability to provide staff training and support within a core subject or key area

Experience of working with wider agencies

The ability to work as a team and communicate effectively

The ability to build strong support networks

A commitment to on-going training to gain the National SENCo Award

A commitment to the Christian ethos of the school and inclusive nature
