The Company Our client is a specialist Engineering company due to growth they now require an Engineering Quality Manager. The Role Oversee the Quality Department, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Act as the in-house Welding Coordinator, managing welding operations and ensuring adherence to best practices. Conduct and supervise weld inspections, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Lead and develop quality assurance initiatives, including audits, testing, and continuous improvement programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fabrication processes, particularly in the production of equipment. Provide technical expertise and guidance on welding, fabrication, and quality-related issues. Maintain and improve compliance with industry standards and certifications. The Person PCN level 2 certified, CSWIP 3.2 Welding Inspection Qualification. Significant experience in heavy engineering, with a strong focus on fabrication and welding. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
