Reward Specialist– 12-Month FTC
Hybrid | Manchester | Up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits and flexibility
Are you a Total Reward Specialist with a passion for influencing strategy and delivering meaningful change?
A progressive organisation based in Manchester is offering a 12 months contract to work at Business Partner level supporting the business predominantly on the compensation side of Reward but experience across both compensation and benefits is a must.
In this role you\’ll have the opportunity to support and lead from a Reward perspective on high profile projects including a transformative HRIS implementation project and partner, support and coach managers with everything Reward with senior stakeholders
Aside to this you\’ll also be leading on Reward Analysis, salary surveys, reviews and benchmarking, liaising with benefits providers on a day to day and annual reviews, job evaluation, pensions, and wellbeing and recognition incentives.
Working in a dedicated Reward team, this is a fantastic contract opportunity for a Reward Analyst looking to further develop their partnering skills or an already experienced Reward Business Partner to join the team and share their expertise in order to optimise processes.

You’ll be part of a central HR team driving forward a refreshed approach to pay, benefits, wellbeing, and data-led decision-making. Acting as a subject matter expert, you’ll collaborate across departments to shape fair, effective, and future-ready reward practices.
This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone confident in using data, engaging senior stakeholders, and delivering both cyclical and project-based reward initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end delivery of annual compensation cycles
- Provide specialist advice on pay frameworks, job evaluation, and recognition
- Conduct internal and external benchmarking to support reward strategy
- Manage benefit plans, renewals, and supplier relationships
- Ensure reward approaches support fairness, inclusion, and long-term value
You’ll Bring
- Experience in a reward specialist or reward-focused generalist HR role
- Strong data analysis, Excel, and HR systems skills
- Familiarity with job evaluation methodologies such as Hay and/or HERA
- Clear, confident communication style with strong stakeholder engagement
- Experience in complex, regulated, or unionised settings is a plus
