Supervising Social Worker – Fostering Team – Exeter UK – £38 Hourly – 3 Months
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Supervising Social Worker within our Fostering Team in beautiful Exeter, UK. What you will do:
* Conduct foster carer supervisions and provide ongoing support to foster carers.
* Complete high-quality carer annual reviews, ensuring all assessments are timely and meet the highest standards.
* Perform unannounced visits to foster carers to ensure the wellbeing of the children.
* Attend essential meetings such as child in care reviews and risk assessment meetings to advocate for the children\’s best interests.
* Present cases to the fostering panel as required and facilitate foster carer support groups.
* Collaborate closely with childcare teams and other professionals to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in care.
About You:
We\’re searching for someone who shares our passion for enhancing children\’s life chances. As an experienced and qualified Supervising Social Worker, you will bring your enthusiasm and expertise to managing complex situations with ease. Your strong partnership skills and creative problem-solving abilities will be key to success in this role. A thorough knowledge of the Eclipse computer system is a plus, alongside strong IT capabilities. A full, clean driving licence with access to a car is essential for travelling as needed across Devon.
