Job Description:
SuperCare is seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage operations at a new residential children\’s home in Ilford. The role requires adaptability to navigate evolving demands effectively.
The successful candidate will lead shifts, develop support plans with young people, and promote their physical, emotional, and social welfare in accordance with the Children Act 1989. Responsibilities include:
- Direct work with young people, including key working and providing support on a shift basis.
- Collaborating with young people, social workers, carers, and agencies to coordinate care and review plans.
- Maintaining health and safety standards and making autonomous decisions regarding young people\’s requests and behavior.
- Administrative duties related to key working and home management.
- Encouraging young people\’s responsibility for their lives, informing them of their rights, and involving them in planning.
Household Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the home environment and equipment.
- Managing allocated funds responsibly.
- Reporting repairs and ensuring safety checks are completed.
- Ensuring nutritious meals are provided.
