Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Hainault Forest, UK
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client\’s team in Ilford. This position is perfect for someone passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The role involves a variety of tasks that ensure their grounds are presented to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general maintenance duties including strimming, hedge cutting, blowing, and operating a ride-on mower.
- Perform detailed landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, grass cutting, weeding, planting trees, shrubs, and seasonal bedding.
- Carry out pruning activities to maintain the health and aesthetic of plants and trees.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with our quality standards.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment responsibly.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all areas of the grounds are well-cared for and presentable.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of landscaping tools and machinery.
- A strong commitment to safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
