About The Role
Join Our Dynamic Production Team at IPL Sittingbourne! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative – Nights to become a vital part of our team at our produce facility in Sittingbourne. If you are passionate about production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
- Schedule: 4 on 4 off (Nights) – 7pm to 7am
- Location: IPL Sittingbourne – Site Based Role
- Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operative you will assist in managing the product (Fresh Produce) flow through the line, sort and dress out defects, ensuring product specifications are met. You will ensure products are correctly packed and labelled to target in line with company and customer expectations and report any defects or poor quality to Line Leader. You will correctly pack finished goods safely, to specification standards and in the correct orientation within each tray and safely stack trays to a required height.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience working in a fast‑paced environment is essential, specifically within a manufacturing/pack house/produce background is desirable.
- Good practical skills and the ability to work quickly and methodically within a team while concentrating on repetitive tasks and following instructions.
- ‘Can do’ attitude and proactive approach; understanding of health and safety policies in the workplace; entry‑level written and spoken English.
