Job Description:
Purpose: Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Cover Supervisor to join our Warrington store. You will support other stores in Warrington, Chester, Birkenhead, and Hanley.
You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.41 plus non-contractual sales commission. Our Cover Supervisors support store management and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
This is a full-time, permanent position, contracted for 30-40 hours per week. Candidates with a full UK driving license are preferred due to store coverage needs.
Ideal candidates are energetic, driven, passionate about retail, and possess excellent customer service and leadership skills. Previous retail supervisory experience is preferred.
Key Activities:
- Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Open & close stores, including cashing up and administrative duties.
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Promote products and support sales targets.
- Support team development and store merchandising.
- Manage stock deliveries and customer queries.
Personal Characteristics:
- Ability to follow management instructions.
- Supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and target-driven.
- Methodical and attentive to detail.
- Flexible to work any day Monday-Sunday, 30-40 hours per week.
- Willing to travel to all listed stores.
