Job Description
We’re working with a fast-growing, innovation-driven company looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Procurement. The successful candidate will be building and scaling the procurement function across raw materials, components, capital equipment, and outsourced services — all in support of a business transitioning from R&D into full production.\\nThe Head of Procurement will:\\n * Develop and lead the end-to-end procurement strategy across key spend categories.\\n * Source and manage suppliers for components, raw materials, and capital assets.\\n * Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to align supply with demand.\\n * Build category strategies balancing cost, quality, and risk.\\n * Oversee capital equipment procurement, contracts, and infrastructure tenders.\\n * Ensure commercial, regulatory, and ethical compliance.\\nThe Head of Procurement will have:\\n * Senior-level procurement experience in engineering or manufacturing (defence, automotive, medical, etc.)\\n * Track record in supplier development, negotiations, and capital equipment buying.\\n * Experience managing global supply chains, including suppliers in Asia.\\n * Strong commercial skills: budgeting, cost modelling, and contract management.\\n * Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and process optimisation.\\n * MCIPS qualified or working towards certification.\\nIf you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, build from the ground up, and make a real impact — this is your chance!\\nApply today with your up do date CV we’d love to hear from you
