Bank Nurse at Hillside Lodge – £23.50 per hour

Working Hours: As/when needed by service – 12-hour shifts (07:45-20:15 and 20:00-08:00)

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Nurse to join Hillside Lodge in Pulborough. You will be part of a team committed to providing high-quality care, utilizing the latest care technology to enhance patient interaction. Hillside Lodge is known for its excellent reputation as a valued care provider, focusing on the needs of our service users every day.

About the service:

Hillside Lodge is a modern care home in Pulborough with 60 single en-suite bedrooms across 6 units, featuring a lounge/dining area. We care for elderly residents with conditions such as Alzheimer\’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s, or other clinical diagnoses. The successful candidate will collaborate with our care team to ensure optimal care for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients\’ health and care needs; develop care plans
• Administer medication and monitor responses
• Provide nursing care, including wound and palliative care
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals for personalized care
• Support residents with daily activities (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Offer emotional support to residents and families
• Maintain accurate records
• Follow CQC guidelines to ensure high standards of care
• Contribute to policy development and staff training

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in elderly care, including dementia care
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Teamwork and independent working ability
• Commitment to professional development
