Overview

We are looking for an experienced SaaS functional domain specialist to join our CSS team in the UK. The domain expert will be responsible for providing consultancy and advisory to our strategic customers, translating ideas and concepts into implementable, supportable designs, and providing technical solutions aligned with Oracle standards while applying industry best practices. This role works with Oracle SaaS/PaaS products and involves maintaining and supporting customers\’ eBusiness Suite applications and Fusion SaaS, on-site or remotely, implementing and running PaaS solutions such as Oracle Integration Cloud/SOA and integration to Oracle SaaS products. The role develops, integrates and implements application components including front-end development, internal database integration and OTBI reports, and contributes to programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of Oracle Cloud applications. The Human Capital domain specialist ensures solution architecture feasibility and mitigates risk by leveraging a network of subject matter experts; the HCM Architect/domain specialist may propose customer roadmaps to realize the proposed solution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate as Functional leader/Advisor in service activity streams such as Gap Analysis and Solution design, POCs, requirements gathering, business analysis, project delivery, quality assurance with other Oracle teams at client locations or offshore.
  • Document / review Requirements Specifications Documents.
  • Analyze business requirements, participate in functional design and document / review Functional Specification documents.
  • Travel as required to client locations onsite (within and outside UK) on an as-needed basis for implementations and participate in product walkthroughs and POC workshops.
  • Collaborate with onsite and client personnel to ensure project success during implementations.
  • Use defined standards/tools/processes to deliver work that meets quality expectations of Oracle / Client.
  • Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for Oracle / Client.
  • Adhere to the Change Control Process of Oracle / Client, aligning with audit / compliance requirements.
  • Perform accurate handover / knowledge transfer at the end of each assignment.
  • Provide timely status reporting to supervisor.

What You’ll Bring

Primary Skills And Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with Oracle applications, SaaS and PaaS solutions, including at least 6+ years in SaaS implementation, with proven industry experience in HCM solutions and different HCM products at a consultancy or customer site.
  • Fluency in English
  • Self-starter able to work independently and with teams.
  • Detailed functional knowledge of Oracle SaaS (eBusiness Suite is a plus) within at least one industry.
  • Ability to collaborate with client Business Teams independently.
  • Ability to analyze solution approaches, estimations, standard methodologies, project risks and recommendations.
  • Ability to map client requirements to off-the-shelf products or product features to decide suitability over building a new system.
  • Ability to participate and lead project meetings and Product-Walkthrough workshops with the Customer.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation and communications skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology specifications.
  • Experience in implementation and/or support of Oracle SaaS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work offshore and travel to client locations for short, medium, or long duration assignments.
  • Willingness to pursue Oracle SaaS certifications in functional areas as required.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of more than one business industry.
  • Knowledge of FMW/PaaS development tools is a plus.
  • SC clearance or eligibility to be security cleared and willingness to undergo SC clearance.
  • This role requires UK personnel meeting minimum requirements. UK Nationals eligible to support UK Government Environments can apply.
  • Validation for UK Passport, UK Birth Certificate or UK Naturalization Certificate.

Other Skills

  • Knowledge of basic SQL query writing, report writing, and dashboard/workflow creation.
  • Exposure to software development processes and practices, testing tools.
