This is a fulltime on site role for either a BDMA or/and IICRC Water Damage Technician.

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated Water Damage Technicians, to join our growing restoration team. You\’ll be responsible for assessing, mitigating and restoring properties affected by water or fire. This is a hands on role that requires technical skill, attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer care.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency water damage call-outs, often on short notice.
  • Conduct moisture inspections using industry-standard equipment (e.g., moisture meters, thermal imaging etc).
  • Set up and monitor drying systems (e.g., dehumidifiers, air movers).
  • Complete extraction, sanitisation, and structural drying tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Document all work accurately, including photographs, moisture readings, and drying logs.
  • Liaise professionally with customers and provide clear updates on progress.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and company protocols at all times.
  • Assist with fire, mould, and other disaster restoration jobs when required.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving licence (vehicle will be provided)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings (paid overtime)
  • Physically fit and able to work in challenging environments (e.g., confined spaces, damp areas)
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and technology for job reporting

Preferred:

  • IICRC or BDMA certification in Water Damage Restoration or similar
  • Previous experience in water damage, property restoration, or construction
  • Understanding of health and safety compliance and PPE use
  • Asbestos Awareness, (advantageous but not essential)
