Job Description
Our client, a RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice, is seeking a talented Project Architect to join their expanding team in Berkshire. Specialising in high-end residential projects, the practice delivers bespoke designs ranging from contemporary new builds to traditional homes tailored for modern living.\\n\\nThe ideal Project Architect will have a strong design flair, experience across all RIBA stages, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. A passion for high-end residential design is essential, along with excellent client-facing skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Vectorworks experience is preferred, though training can be provided.\\nProject Architect Job Overview\\n• Engage with clients and consultants to define project briefs and requirements.\\n• Manage projects across all RIBA stages, from initial brief through to completion on site.\\n• Produce high-quality design and technical drawings for planning applications and tender packages.\\n• Conduct site visits, attend meetings, and resolve queries during construction.\\n• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and produce detailed construction drawings.\\n• Oversee contract administration and ensure smooth project delivery.\\n• Build and maintain excellent client relationships.\\nProject Architect Job Requirements\\n• Degree-qualified in Architecture with RIBA Part III qualification\\n• Proven experience running high-end residential projects across all RIBA stages\\n• Passivhaus experience; highly advantageous\\n• Excellent knowledge of UK planning, building regulations, and construction processes\\n• Proficiency in Vectorworks (preferred, but training available)\\n• Proven experience project running and experience delivering one-off homes\\n• Excellent communication and client management skills\\n• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.\\n• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
