Responsibilities
- Ensure that the workplace, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
- Complete shift reports detailing production and downtime, including any specific data required for the shift. Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and Day Support regarding the operations of the shift.
- Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
- Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/accidents and hazards are duly reported.
- Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department regarding the condition of production equipment or problems.
- Provide support for holiday, sickness, training and maintenance cover.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Good awareness of health and safety practices, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality are consistently met.
