Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, and install electrical plant and industrial equipment, including control panels, pumps, motors, chemical dosing systems, and analysers. The role ensures the reliable and efficient operation of production sites and supports both reactive and planned maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Repair, maintain, and install electrical plant and equipment, including control panels, pumps, motors, chemical dosing systems, and analysers
Collaborate with other members of the production team
Liaise with and supervise contractors while work is being carried out on site
Maintain accurate records linked to reactive and planned maintenance work
Keep business and work management systems up to date
Assist with site administration, including timesheets, health and safety forms, and vehicle record sheets
Monitor and maintain site security
Update and maintain site operating manuals
Issue Permits to Work where required
Contribute to engineering capital works projects as needed
Adhere to health and safety legislation, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Participate in a standby rota to provide out-of-hours operational support
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Electrical qualification to at least Level 3 NVQ Diploma xiskglj or equivalent (HNC, apprenticeship, etc.)
Ability to fault-find and troubleshoot electrical equipment
Highly organised with the ability to work independently
Confident using IT systems to update records and reports
Valid UK driving licence
