Job Description
Here at Randstad, we're collaborating closely with the local authority & schools in Westmorland, Cumbria who are seeking additional tutoring for their students in Maths and English. We warmly welcome motivated individuals who work with children in the area who are passionate about entering the field of education. It would be ideal if you already possess an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one.
We're looking for individuals interested in teaching the following subjects:
Secondary Maths and English.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with educational and care stakeholders to ensure student support
- Adhering to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.
Desired experience includes:
- Previous experience tutoring one-to-one or small groups of students needing additional educational or pastoral support
- Ability to accept supervision and constructive feedback gracefully
- Experience working in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions
- Familiarity with supporting students with SEN, undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people, or looked-after children.
Your essential qualities should include:
