Job OverviewOur client, a busy main dealership in Warrington has the requirement for an Temporary MOT Technician to join their established team.
MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities
As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic your responsibilities will include:
- Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
- Liaise with Centre Manager department regarding test result
- Carry out re-tests as appropriate
- Carry out quality inspections
- Keep up-to-date DVSA process and procedure
- Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner
- Carry out New Cars PDI's, Used Car Multi Point Checks, and associated rectification.
- Carry out minor MOT failures repairs.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Active MOT Testing licence
- 2 years MOT Testing Experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Own Tools
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
Desirable Requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
- Manufacturer Accreditations
