Otis is currently recruiting for a Field Manager to manage day-to-day site operations on a large New Equipment Installation Project in Oxford. The successful candidate will report to and work alongside a Project Manager.

On a typical day, you will:

  1. Communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders, including owners, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  2. Ensure the project runs on time and on budget by monitoring teams and/or subcontractors.
  3. Work closely with the project team to mitigate safety, ethics, and quality risks, including managing government and legal requirements.
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction, provide engineering support, and improve profitability.
  5. Train and monitor the safety, quality, and operations of subcontractors, ensuring a standard service delivery to customers.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Experience with the elevator and building trades.
  • Ideally, a Level 3 NVQ in Lift Installation and Commissioning or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
  • Self-reliance, strong computer and organizational skills, and business acumen.
