Otis is currently recruiting for a Field Manager to manage day-to-day site operations on a large New Equipment Installation Project in Oxford. The successful candidate will report to and work alongside a Project Manager.
On a typical day, you will:
- Communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders, including owners, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure the project runs on time and on budget by monitoring teams and/or subcontractors.
- Work closely with the project team to mitigate safety, ethics, and quality risks, including managing government and legal requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, provide engineering support, and improve profitability.
- Train and monitor the safety, quality, and operations of subcontractors, ensuring a standard service delivery to customers.
What you will need to be successful:
- Experience with the elevator and building trades.
- Ideally, a Level 3 NVQ in Lift Installation and Commissioning or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
- Self-reliance, strong computer and organizational skills, and business acumen.
