We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to be based at our multi-user site in Ollerton, where you’ll be given the opportunity lead your own team from the front and really make a difference. You will be responsible for e nsuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to Health & Safety rules and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.
This is a permanent, full-time position, with working hours of 4 on 4 off nights, 7pm to 7am

We’re looking to offer a salary of £29,427 + Nights allowance (£2697 extra) per annum and 20 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Team management; developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
- You’ll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
- You’ll actively manage your available resource, and utilise staff where possible
- Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation and multi-channel
- Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
- Well-versed in warehouse management systems
- Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
