Our client, is looking for an experienced Head of IT Systems/Integration Manager to join their team. As Head of IT Systems/Integration Manager you will play a crucial role in establishing a cohesive global IT structure across a diverse portfolio of companies. You will focus on integrating and optimizing various homemade systems, ensuring they align with the organization’s goals and enhance operational efficiency.

This role is essential to supporting the client\’s ambitious growth plans, and as a Head of IT Systems/Integration Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving system integration and management. We’re seeking someone with not only technical expertise but also the leadership skills necessary to guide teams through the complexities of integration, system optimization, and maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Standardization and System Streamlining:

  • Standardize business processes across departments, integrating solutions where possible to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
  • Manage the simplification and optimization of business systems, focusing on the elimination of inefficiencies and aligning technology solutions with the organization’s evolving needs.

System Integration and Optimization:

  • Analyze current systems, tools, and processes to identify redundancies and areas for improvement, ensuring efficient and standardized practices across the organization.
  • Oversee the integration of the company’s ERP, CRM, and other business-critical systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and scalability.
  • Drive the implementation of key systems like NetSuite and other relevant platforms, ensuring they meet business needs and support operational growth.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with divisional directors, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to drive alignment on IT systems strategy and business processes.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams to understand their unique needs, providing guidance on system improvements and process optimization.
  • Act as the key point of contact for senior leadership and divisional directors, providing updates on progress, challenges, and recommendations for optimization.

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT systems strategy that supports organizational goals and growth objectives.
  • Lead the integration of various business applications and tools, optimizing the use of existing systems and ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and manage a team of business analysts and potentially systems/database administrators, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
  • Assess team needs and develop business cases to secure resources or make improvements, ensuring the team has the tools and support to succeed.

Security and Compliance Awareness:

  • Ensure that the deployed systems meet security standards, aligning with organizational security protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Head of IT Security to ensure the integration of security features into new systems and ongoing risk management.
  • Promote awareness of security best practices and work with teams to ensure systems remain secure and compliant.

Financial Management and Resource Allocation:

  • Provide recommendations on system investments, technology acquisitions, and resource allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to assess cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient use of technology investments.
  • Monitor the financial performance of IT initiatives and identify opportunities for operational savings.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Experience and Background:

  • Proven experience in managing complex IT systems and infrastructure, with a focus on business system integration and process optimization.
  • Strong background in ERP systems, CRM solutions, and system optimization, with specific experience in platforms like NetSuite being highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Technical Expertise:

  • A solid understanding of IT development cycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and their application in system integration and optimization.
  • Experience with system integration, particularly in integrating legacy systems with new platforms like NetSuite.
  • Security awareness and understanding of the latest best practices in IT system security.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and influence teams effectively, while also demonstrating accountability for system performance.
  • Assertive, yet diplomatic, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and lead organizational change initiatives.
  • High-level problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a strategic mindset focused on long-term goals and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Resilience and adaptability in managing change, especially when dealing with resistance or pushback from teams accustomed to existing systems.
