This is an opportunity to build a close relationship with the Finance Director and support them in the day to day finance operations.

About You
- It is preferable that you hold a formal accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA.but we can consider an ambitious QBE.
- You may be a Financial Controller a Cost Accountant or Management Accountant just wanting a new challenge, but please note there is no staff management in this role.
- It is essential that you will have a background in manufacturing and have hands on experience of costings.
- You must be a people-person and be prepared to work closely with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure maximum profitability.
- You\’ll be driven and enthusiastic – not one to hide behind your screen; you\’ll have idea\’s and want to make changes to existing procedures in an effort to help grow the business further.
- You\’ll be commutable to Glossop, Derbyshire.
About The Job
- You\’ll join as Divisional Accountant, responsible for cost and management accounting for your division.
- There are no direct reports therefore no management experience is required.
- Using your previous experience from manufacturing / production, you\’ll maintain accurate product costings, budgets, forecasts and reporting.
- You\’ll produce the packs for Month and Year end and collate required data for external auditors.
- You\’ll prepare Management Accounts for your division.
- A key focus of your role will be to drive cost savings across the site, working closely with the shop floor staff and wider management teams.
- It\’s a challenging role that needs someone forensic and motivated.
