Temporary Works Design Engineer

Location:

£42k-£52k + travel paid

Overview:

Are you a structural engineer with several years of experience interested in complex temporary works design? Join a reputable design consultancy, part of a large main contractor, and benefit from an Employee Owned Trust structure, bonus schemes, and paid travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of temporary works such as façade retentions, hoardings, barriers, formwork, scaffolding, and connections.
  • Involvement in large building schemes on complex sites, liaising with contractors, and site visits.
  • Develop innovative solutions for challenging temporary works projects.

Candidate Profile:

  • Forward-thinking, flexible, and business-savvy with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and solve problems creatively.
  • Degree from a good university (2.1 preferred), with several years of relevant experience.
