This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and a formal qualification as a school administrator.
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our busy school office. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for the academy, undertaking reception duties and providing comprehensive administrative support. This role is an excellent chance to develop a career in administration within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The ideal candidate will have good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google packages. You should possess strong communication skills, the ability to prioritise your workload, and a keen eye for detail. We are looking for a positive team player who can remain calm under pressure. As part of the role, you will be required to undertake a Level 3 School Administrator Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and telephone enquiries.
- Providing general administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and emailing.
- Updating and maintaining school records and management information systems.
- Assisting with student welfare and administering basic first aid as required.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
