Library Aide, Pearle L Crawford Memorial Library (Dudley)

Duties include:

· Circulating books and other materials; processing interlibrary loans.

· Assisting patrons with library services, including online catalog, internet, databases, and downloadable eBooks/audiobooks.

· Performing clerical tasks and helping resolve patron inquiries.

· Reshelving materials, maintaining periodicals, and processing new library materials.

· Providing basic reader’s advisory and assisting with library programs.

Qualifications

High School diploma or G.E.D. required.

· One year of experience in a library, customer service, or public service environment preferred.

· Knowledge of automated library systems (Evergreen preferred), MS Office, Google Suite, and social media.

· Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

· CORI check and pre-employment physical required.
