CAD Technician required for a successful manufacturing engineering organisation who provide niche designs to their clients. The company are expanding and so need staff to join their growing team.
Candidates will have 2D and 3D experience, ideally on AutoCAD and SolidWorks or similar packages.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a CAD Technician to join a business that invests and develops their team, including support towards progression and Chartership. You will work in an experienced team to support in-house Design Engineers.
The CAD Technician Role:
•To support in-house Design Engineers.
•Completing designs within the relevant regulations/standards.
•Producing initial 2D layout drawings for client discussion and approval.
•Helping to produce 3D manufacturing models for fabrication and installation.
•Completing full design packages consisting of BOMs, design specification, installation detail drawings & post installation as-built documentation.
•Liaison with the projects team, keeping them up to date throughout the process.
The Successful CAD Technician:
•Previous experience in a CAD role.
•Competent in use of AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar packages.
•You will hold an HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline e.g. mechanical.
