We are seeking an experienced social worker to work with adults over 18 years, tackling real-life challenges while enjoying flexible locum work arrangements. This is a chance to expand your skills over a 3-month period with the potential to extend, all while earning a competitive hourly rate.

What you will do:

  • Respond to requests for Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments, support planning, and reviews.
  • Handle duty work including hospital discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients returning to their communities.
  • Collaborate with health professionals and local services to manage risks and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.
  • Participate in supervisions, both individually with the team manager and in group settings, to enhance your practice.
  • Facilitate informal support and sharing of best practices through daily team huddles and interactions with senior social workers.
