Job Role: Targeted Support Worker
Salary: £25,235 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Fixed term contract, until 31st March 2026
Location: Somerset East & Somerset, mainly Frome & Shepton Mallet
Additional Information
- Valid driver\’s license and access to a car for business purposes
- Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota
- Participation in a rostered system of working with shifts between the hours of 08:00 AM and 20:00 PM
- Primarily Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required on a rotational basis
The Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Targeted Support Worker to support individuals who have experienced rough sleeping. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with a small caseload of up to 10 clients, helping them overcome barriers and maintain stable tenancies across a range of local projects.
You’ll build strong, trusting relationships with clients, offering tailored advice and support to help them thrive. This is a team-based role that includes some evening and weekend work, as well as participation in our on-call service.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct needs and risk assessments
- Implement support plans and provide effective support and advice
- Keeping client records accurate, clear, and up to date
- Advise and assist clients with budgeting
- Creating a safe, supportive and empowering environment that promotes personal growth and sustainable move-on

- Valid driver\’s license and access to own vehicle – business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
