An opportunity for an ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyor to work for a large firm of PQS / construction consultants based in Leeds.
You will initially work on high value projects for either large commercial offices or residential projects including Purpose Built Student Accommodation or Build to Rent residential projects.
They are seeking people who are MRICS qualified who have been working for another firm of PQS.
THE COMPANY
My client is a large firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Employers Agent etc. for projects both in the UK and abroad.
They currently have offices across the UK and abroad.
They work on both new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors to include commercial offices, residential, arenas, sports stadia, data centres, airports, life sciences and more.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a BSc or MSc qualified Quantity Surveyor who is also MRICS qualified.
You will be at Associate or Associate Director level or approaching Associate with experience of leading large projects.
You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.
You should be able to supervise more junior quantity surveyors, helping to support them through APC.
Experience across a range of building projects is preferred.
Experience of working on PBSA and BtR is preferred.
You should have good analytical skills.
You should have a stable work record.
You must have excellent English both written and spoken and good client facing skills.
Salary is negotiable according to experience plus benefits which includes RICS fees, health insurance, pension, discretionary bonus and other benefits.
