McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Duty Manager to join their team at their prestigious development, Wayfarer Place, in Alresford, Hampshire.
This is not traditional care; this is better!
Salary and Hours
- Base salary: £14.02 per hour (day rate) and £11.44 per hour (sleeping night rate), plus additional pay (see below)
- Hours: 12 per week, including day and night shifts
Day shifts vary between 08:45-16:30 or 16:15-09:30. Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00. Duty Managers sleep between 23:00 and 07:00, providing emergency support to homeowners during that period.

We are seeking a professional Duty Manager to uphold our high customer standards. Support the management and smooth operation of a thriving community of active, independent older adults, providing them with a safe and engaging environment in elegant private apartments.
About You
- You will be warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated, with experience in care or support environments and excellent care skills.
- Preferably hold a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults), but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
- You will be responsible for managing security, safety, and wellbeing of homeowners, and overseeing Care and Support teams.
- You will facilitate activities to enhance community spirit.
- You are driven to develop your skills, lead by example, and make a positive impact on older people\’s wellbeing and happiness.
