Project Manager ***Previous experience on Industrial New Builds is essential*** Ridgeway & Co are working with an established and growing regional main contractor to appoint an experienced Project Manager, delivering high-quality new build and refurbishment schemes in Newmarket and the surrounding region. This contractor has built an excellent reputation for delivering complex projects across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors, with a strong pipeline of secured work and a collaborative, supportive culture. Key responsibilities: * Lead daily site operations, managing site teams, subcontractors and direct labour. * Develop, monitor and update project programmes and schedules. * Manage project budgets, procurement and cost control. * Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards. * Liaise with clients, consultants, supply chain and local stakeholders. * Chair regular site meetings and produce progress reports. * Deliver projects on time, within budget and to specification. * Promote a positive, collaborative working culture on site. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment. * Strong background delivering new build or refurbishment projects, ideally valued between £5m–£20m. * Industrial experience highly desirable. * Excellent leadership, communication and client-facing skills. * Solid understanding of construction methods, HSEQ and project management best practice. * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work (essential). * Full UK driving licence.
