We’re looking for a passionate Digital Merchandiser to join our team and take responsibility for the performance of specific product categories across our digital channels. In this role, you’ll optimise the end-to-end online journey for your categories, with a focus on driving traffic, increasing conversion, and supporting overall sales performance. You’ll develop and lead a clear, category-specific strategy for digital that aligns with wider business objectives and integrates with both digital and above-the-line marketing activity. Working closely with digital and commercial teams, you’ll ensure promotional content is delivered on time, follows SEO and web best practices, and supports a high-quality user experience. This is a full-time permanent role based at our office in Raunds which is easily commutable from Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden and Northampton. You’ll be based onsite with the team four days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day. What will I be doing as a Digital Merchandiser? – Plan and deliver a category strategy plan to deliver performance improvements and enhanced customer experience whatever the digital touchpoint. – Optimise your categories to support all pillars of the E-Commerce success: Taxonomy, SEO, Content, Visual Merchandising, Onsite Search, User Generated Content, Personalisation and Product Recommendations. – Review web performance daily, provide weekly and period reporting and use this insight to deliver clear actions, objectives and plans for refinement – Utilise tools such as search engine performance software to understand category performance and make relevant data refinements resulting in improved performance – Identify opportunities and make recommendations for continuous improvement to the customer experience on out digital channels.
