Compliance Administrator – SEN Schools – Permanent, Full-time – £31k to £33k – Caterham / London (Hybrid & Travel). An SEN school academy is looking for an experienced compliance administrator to join its compliance team. The role will be based in their Head Office, which is located in the Caterham / Whyteleafe area, however it will by hybrid based and there will be travel to visit their schools as well, which are mainly in the London, Croydon, Essex, and Sussex areas. The postholder, under the management of the Director of Compliance will be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial and organisational processes within this area. They will assist with the planning and development of support services to support the smooth & efficient running of the Compliance & DPO services across the educational trust. SALARY ETC: * £31,000 to £33,000 full travel expense reimbursement for visits to various sites. * Full-time (not just term-time, so it will be 52 weeks a year). Permanent, although would also consider temp to perm. * Hybrid working, although based in Head Office, which is the Caterham / Whyteleafe area, and travel to London (mainly SE London), Croydon, Essex and Sussex. * Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. REQUIREMENTS: * Must have full rights to work in the UK (Unable to offer sponsorship). * Successful appointment will be subject to DBS and reference checks. * Experience in a similar role, doing administration in compliances, schools, facilities, or similar. * Must be reliable, punctual, have empathy towards children with SEN. * Would be highly beneficial if you drive, with a car (easier to get to all sites), however they will consider someone with strong background, who is happy to use public transport. * Ability to identify and prioritise accordingly, in a busy environment, with good attention to details, and an enquiring mind to challenge and validate information to confirm compliance * Strong administration skills & telephone manners (incoming and outgoing calls to resolve queries). * Good IT Skills, including Google, Mail, Excel, Word, etc. Strong record keeping to demonstrate compliance for various audits and inspections. DUTIES TO INCLUDE: * Deal with complex admin/reception/visitor etc matters relating to compliance within the Trust. * Contribute to the planning, development of support service, systems, procedures and policies. * Assist in arrangements for daily, weekly, monthly and annual events in key Compliance and Data Protection Calendar * Monitoring FOI, Information and DPO email inboxes * Manage manual and computerised records/information systems. * Analyse and evaluate data/information and produce reports/information/data as required. * Undertake typing and word-processing and complex IT based tasks. Provide personal, administrative and organisational support as directed. * Provide administrative and organisational support to the Director of Compliance with a variety of admin, undertake administration of complex procedures. * Complete and submit complex forms, returns etc., including those to outside agencies e.g. DfE, annual asset & other compliance checks and reports, and maintaining up-to-date records in between. * Undertake the administration of staff absence reporting systems within the Compliance & DPO areas * Admin of finance related tasks ie raising purchase order requisitions, dealing with invoice, delivery and payment queries for purchase order & procurement, card and petty cash purchases. * Maintaining compliance related contract and supplier database * Maintaining record keeping to support periodic audits ie H&S, Fire Risk Assessment (FRA), as well as various online and paper based records systems and general enquiries * Monitor and manage stock within an agreed budget, cataloguing resources and undertaking audits as required. * Manage administration of facilities & Undertake complex financial administration procedures * Liaising with external suppliers, caretakers, teachers, heads and Central Exec staff around queries in the above areas as well as external contractors and suppliers
