Contract Personnel are delighted to be supporting a growing business in North Walsham with their recruitment for a Procurement & Ledger Controller . This role will be central to maintaining smooth financial operations and keeping the business running effectively. Key responsibilities: – Raising purchase orders (working to a monthly budget) – Updating purchase orders – Monitoring and updating stock levels, ensuring stock value & availability is optimised – Monitoring stock due dates are met and chasing suppliers when they are not – Updating order dates on our IT system when required – Reconciling supplier delivery notes and invoices – Entering purchase invoices on our accounts system – Dealing with supplier delivery discrepancies – Arranging supplier returns when necessary – Building relationships with suppliers – Communicating any delivery delays to our Customer Services Team – Assisting the Customer Services Department with incoming orders, emails and telephone calls during busy periods and holiday cover  Key requirements: – Proficiency in financial systems such as Sage or SAP – Attention to detail – Experience in supply chain logistics and finance (not essential) – Focus on good time management Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm What we offer: – Collaborative and innovative company culture, within a tight-knit team – Competitive salary of up to £30,(Apply online only) and benefits package – Opportunity to join a company at a key stage as they scale
