Assembly Technician Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £25,000 £30,000 (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday | Day shift | Immediate start available We are on a lookout for a Assembly Technician to join our client\’s team in Mildenhall. You will be part of delivering advanced manufacturing systems across industries including automotive, medical and more. Key Responsibilities: Perform precision soldering of electronic and mechanical components to the highest standards Assemble and wire control panels, systems, and sub-assemblies using schematics and technical drawings Crimp and terminate cables using hand tools and semi-automated equipment Carry out PCB assembly and repair, including fine-pitch and surface mount devices (SMT) Work to tight tolerances in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications Requirements: Previous experience in a soldering or electronics assembly role is is essential Strong understanding of wiring, crimping, and cable assembly is essential Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality focus Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team What You\’ll Get: Competitive salary: £25,000 £30,000 depending on experience Clean and modern working environment Opportunity to work with a globally recognised engineering brand Supportive team culture with training and development opportunities Standard weekday hours (no weekends or shifts) 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension & more If you have soldering or wiring experience and think this role is a great fit for you apply today
