Overview
At Alpine Formula One Team, we have an opportunity to join our well-established Composites department as a Composite Technician – Laminating on Day shift.
We are looking to add to our excellent team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence – and ultimately a championship contending team.
The Role
Reporting to the Cell Lead, the main responsibility of this role will involve laminating composite F1 race car components to first class levels of quality and output. Here at Alpine Racing, you will be working with state-of-the-art equipment and a driven team to deliver excellence.
This is a day shift role, Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 17:30
Key Accountabilities
- Laminate composite components in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all materials used are correct and meet the required standards.
- Maintain high levels of quality and output in line with departmental expectations.
- Identify and report any non-conformances clearly and promptly, following internal procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and performance targets.
The Person
Essential
- Proven experience in a similar Laminating role, with good knowledge of composite materials.
- High level of skill in Lamination techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible and positive approach to achieving team and production targets.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider team across different shifts.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working area.
- Organised and self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
Desirable
- Experience in motorsport, aerospace, or high-performance manufacturing.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
