Summary
Venture Recruitment Partners are proud to be working with a well-established Manufacturing business on the outskirts of Salisbury in a brand-new Finance recruit.
Our client is seeking a highly skilled, experience and proactive Management Accountant to play a key role in the finance team and business partner with the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and R&D departments.
The Role
- Understanding and control of cost of sales and stock reporting for all UK operations, up to and including responsibility for Management accounts schedules & narrative
- Effective assistance in preparation and review of company budgets and forecasts
- Understanding and financial control of UK R&D activity, with emphasis on better project cost control for new product developments
- Build good formal & informal relationships with key manufacturing, supply chain & R&D staff
- Ability to pick up and successfully manage a number of assigned projects
- Successfully integrate into existing finance team, supporting improvement initiatives (including internal finance processes, ERP processes and data delivery to other Company users) with ability to develop into Finance team manager
- Take a lead role in the ERP implementation across all UK sites.
