Since securing significant investment, our client is now looking to expand their elite team and are seeking an ambitious Quality Manager to lead a team of experienced Quality Engineers.
They are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of AS9100 and similar standards, to meet stringent Aerospace manufacturing regulations. Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
- Develop, implement, and enhance quality processes and procedures.
- Manage and address customer concerns, ensuring compliance with customer quality requirements.
- Respond to quality events on the shop floor and manage corrective actions.
- Ensure the facility’s readiness for customer and industry assessments and maintain industry certifications such as AS9100.
- Collaborate with various departments to improve internal and delivered quality performance.
- Participate in professional development courses to enable career development.
Requirements of the Quality Manager:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing quality or continuous improvement in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success as a team leader and motivator.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of quality tools, including APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, and Auditing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Certifications: Knowledge of AS9100 & AS13100 is strongly preferred.
