Job Description
Quality Manager (Apprenticeships, Adults, Partnerships & Corporate Services)
Location: Swindon – North Star Campus and Queens Drive Campus
Salary: £41,748 – £44,619 per annum
As a Quality Manager you will bring clarity, consistency and a touch of brilliance to our provision across:
- Apprenticeships (priority area – previous experience essential)
- Adult Learning
- Partnerships
- Corporate Services

What you will do as a Quality Manager
Lead the charge on continuous quality improvement across apprenticeships, adult learning, partnerships and corporate services
- Track achievement, retention and destination data like a quality detective, always looking for the next improvement opportunity
- Design and implement a Corporate Services Quality Framework
- Manage the Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan processes
- Collaborate with curriculum leaders, quality teams and external partners to ensure every learner gets a top-tier experience
- Support inspections and external quality assurance visits and always ensure you're "inspection ready"!
- Manage the college's complaints and compliments process with fairness, speed and a touch of diplomacy
Experience/Qualifications of a Quality Manager
- Proven experience working in an apprenticeships (essential)
- Experience in adult learning, partnerships or corporate services quality (desirable – training and support can be provided)
- A Level 5 teaching qualification and a head for data, detail and deadlines
- A calm, clear communicator who can build strong relationships across teams and with external stakeholders
- Be a creative thinker who sees quality not as a checklist, but as a culture
- Have a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and continuous improvement
Apprenticeship experience is an essential requirement for this role. We can provide training and development for the other areas of responsibility (adult learning, partnerships and corporate services) if required.
