We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Administrator to join our busy school office. This key role involves ensuring the school runs smoothly and efficiently, providing a warm welcome for all visitors.
The position offers 36 hours of work per week, term time only. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 16th September 2025. This is a re-advertisement; previous applicants need not re-apply.
We are looking for someone who:
- Creates a happy, calm, and positive first impression for all visitors
- Builds strong relationships with stakeholders, including external providers
- Has excellent communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the phone, or via email
- Is confident and competent with IT and office systems
- Is highly organized, maintaining an efficient and tidy office environment
- Keeps records and paperwork up to date, ensuring compliance at all times
The role includes general administration duties such as handling financial transactions, assisting with admissions and school trips, and providing reception support—welcoming visitors, managing phone calls, and responding to inquiries from parents, staff, pupils, and visitors.
Knowledge of the SIMs management system is desirable but not essential.

Broadwalk Green is a Key Stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit, supporting pupils who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools or are at risk of exclusion. The school focuses on enabling pupils to make good or better progress and improve their life chances, with a focus on re-integration into mainstream education when appropriate.
