Job Description

Corporate Finance Contractor

Location:London/Hybrid

Salary:£500 – £700/day

  • Strong Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, especially around funding mechanisms (debt, equity, hybrids), capital structuring, and intercompany financing.
  • Experience with Group Structures: Familiarity with multinational or multi-entity corporate structures, including legal, tax, and regulatory considerations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align funding strategies with long-term business goals and stakeholder interests.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional finance projects, ideally with PMP, Prince2, or similar certification.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled in engaging senior stakeholders (CFO, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Board), managing expectations, and driving consensus.
  • Risk and Compliance Awareness: Understanding of financial, regulatory, and operational risks in corporate structuring and funding.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Able to translate complex financial concepts into clear plans and updates for varied audiences.
  • Senior-Level Experience: Typically 10+ years in finance-related roles with at least 3–5 years in project or program management, ideally within a corporate or consulting environment.
