The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Working for us as our Driver/Branch Assistant, you will be out and about much of the day delivering and collecting equipment from customers in a 3.5t vehicle. You will also demonstrate how to use the equipment if needed. After completing your tasks, you will return to the base to join the team in the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all deliveries and collections as allocated by your line manager
- Perform equipment demonstrations and ensure proper presentation
- Carry out daily vehicle checks (oil, water, lights, tyres)
- Be alert to new business opportunities
- Complete all customer and business documentation accurately
- Promote health and safety standards, maintaining MEP’s excellent track record
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in multi-drop driving
- Experience driving a 3.5T vehicle and good knowledge of the local area
- Enjoy meeting people and delivering excellent customer service
- Basic knowledge of machinery or a keen interest to learn
- Ability to demonstrate equipment use (training provided)
- Understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- UK driving license essential
