An exciting opportunity to work for an ambitious and fast-paced international law firm as part of their secretarial department has just become available! Based in the city centre, the successful applicant will be supporting some of the firm’s largest clients; acting as the clients’ \”go-to\” for all their billing requirements and working closely with other billing and finance teams to ensure a smooth-running billing experience for clients. The role is Key responsibilities of the role would include: Accurate and efficient billing in-line with the client’s billing protocols Matter validation including matter management, maintaining ledger financial hygiene and identifying and improving matter protocols Supporting oversees agents’ invoices; guiding fee earners and partners on the firm’s financial procedures, and resolving client queries Supporting the business internally with advice and guidance on revenue and Billing protocols Email responding; actioning proformas and chasing fee-earners in line with the firm’s SLA requirements Additional requests including running client summary reports, financial housekeeping and reducing dormant balances Prospective applicants must have previous experience, either billing or managing high volumes of finances or invoicing, within legal or a similar professional services environment.
