New Business Executive – Hampshire (Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester, Chandler’s Ford)
Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission (Realistic OTE £40,000+)
Are you a confident communicator who thrives on meeting new people, building relationships, and closing deals? Do you enjoy being out in the field, making a real impact with local businesses, and can you demonstrate a background in sales?
Join LOCALiQ as a New Business Executive and take your sales career to the next level. We’re looking for driven, outgoing individuals based in Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester, or Chandler’s Ford, with a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle. You’ll be connecting with businesses across Hampshire, delivering tailored advertising solutions that drive results.
No two days are the same at LOCALiQ. You’ll split your time between field visits, meeting clients face-to-face, attending appointments, canvassing new opportunities and working from the office in Southampton a few days a week to follow up on leads, plan your pipeline, and collaborate with your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit local businesses across Hampshire to promote and sell our print and digital advertising solutions
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision-makers to understand their needs and present tailored advertising packages
  • Proactively canvas new business opportunities within your territory to build a strong pipeline
  • Manage your diary, appointments, and territory with a high level of autonomy and organisation
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs, contributing to overall team success
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, leads, and opportunities using the company CRM system
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing activity, inbound enquiries, and previous campaigns
  • Collaborate with your manager and colleagues to share insights, strategies, and success stories
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Attend regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to support your development

  • A confident, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills

  • Strong relationship-building skills and a professional approach
  • Resilience, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Previous experience in an outbound sales role
  • Previous media/advertising sales experience is a bonus, but not essential
  • Ability to cover Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester, and Chandler’s Ford as your core territory
