Start date: ASAP Duration: 3 months initially Location: South Central Responsibilities: Lead Surgical and critical care service delivery in accordance with agreed operational plans, meeting all key standards and KPIs. Work collectively with clinicians and managers to ensure effective delivery of service objectives across surgery. Re-design the service in order to maintain delivery of service targets whilst improving quality, efficiency and effectiveness of services. Assist in the production and monitoring of Directorate and Divisional strategic and operational plans, as part of the annual planning cycle. Ensure that the highest quality, effective and efficient health care services are operationally delivered within defined costs, time-scales and resources. Operate effective and appropriate planning processes and structures, including communication arrangements. Act upon patient feedback, complaints and claims in order to further improve services.
