Your new role You will be responsible for the management and procurement of energy and utility contracts, for implementing the strategy for our Solar PV and Electric Vehicle Charging portfolios, project management and monitoring of the environmental data systems. You will lead on the provision of in-depth advice on strategic, financial and operational issues driving investments in energy across power and utilities. Lead on data provision to facilitate mapping and scenario-modelling for opportunities within Renewables, EV charging and climate risk. Development and implementation of databases, data analytics and other strategies for energy management to ensure accurate billing. What you\’ll need to succeed You will have worked in an Energy and Utilities-based role previously. Training courses are available, but at this level, previous experience in a similar role is essential. You will need to have up-to-date knowledge of government policy and legislation in regard to energy, utilities and renewables. A background in data and analytics would be useful, as is experience of using relevant software. You will need great stakeholder engagement with people of all levels and backgrounds due to the nature of the work. This is a crucial role for the organisation, so we will be reporting to Directors as well as interacting with communities and support teams.
