Are you based within a commutable distance to the Reading area, and keen to work for a leading company within the Aerospace Sector? LDNY People are currently working in partnership with a leading company in the Aerospace sector, they have a strong reputation for high quality project delivery. They are currently looking to recruit a Junior Quality Engineer/Quality engineer to join their team, based out of their Head office just outside Reading. About you: * You will currently be working as a Quality engineer or keen to progress your career as a Junior Quality Engineer. * You will be from an Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Quality background, they are also open to graduate engineers looking to pursue a career in quality. * As a business they invest heavily in ongoing CPD, they do require someone who wants to progress, learn and continually improve. * You will need to be based within a commutable distance from reading and have full UK working rights to be considered for this position. * Strong spoken and written English is essential. Typical Role Responsibilities (training to be provided). * Working to AS9100/ISO9001/ISO4001 * Using the company ERP system * Complete NC reports for customers * Undertake internal supplier audits * Compiling KPI’s, coordinating MSA, PPAP * Working with suppliers to ensure NC reports are resolved for rejects * Investigate Customer return items * Complete 5 way/8D reports for internal NC’s and rejects * Willing to learn and use relevant equipment (Heigh Gauge, Callipers and Micrometres, CMM) * Carrying out other Quality related tasks in line with team requirements If you are interested in this Junior Quality Engineer position, this company will invest heavily in your career development and offer a clear path of progression.
