Class 1 HGV Driver – Chepstow Competitive Pay | Full-Time | Immediate Start Available We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join a reputable and growing transport operation based in Chepstow. Role Overview: As a Class 1 driver, your primary responsibilities will include trunking palletised goods to various distribution centres and returning with backloads. All routes involve long-distance driving, Shift Details: * Day Shifts: Start times between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM * Night Shifts: Start times between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM * Shift Duration: Approx. 12 hours per shift * Working Days: Monday to Sunday – Regular shifts or Weekends only! Pay Rates: * Days (Mon–Fri): £17.00 per hour * Nights (Mon–Fri): £18.00 per hour * Saturdays: £19.00 per hour * Sundays: £20.00 per hour Requirements: * A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence * A minimum of 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience * Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) * Valid Digital Tachograph Card * Sound understanding of driver working hours and compliance regulations * Good communication skills and a positive attitude
