The Opportunity:
I’m exclusively representing a highly regarded national law firm that works with over 30 trade unions and professional associations across the country.
They are now seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join their team in Leeds city centre. You’ll work on a wide-ranging caseload of claimant-side matters, providing legal support and representation across multiple sectors including transport, education, manufacturing, health, public service, and the entertainment industry.
Role Highlights:
- Manage your own high-quality caseload – from initial advice to tribunal and court proceedings.
- Represent individual clients and union members in complex and high-value disputes.
- Advise on discrimination, unfair dismissal, TUPE, whistleblowing and industrial relations matters.
- Support business development by contributing to written publications, campaigns and community engagement.
- Work within a collaborative team that genuinely values its people and their long-term development.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 6+ years PQE (or equivalent experience) in employment law.
- Strong technical expertise with proven litigation experience (ET and court level).
- Ideally claimant-focused, or with demonstrable empathy for claimant-side work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident dealing with clients across various sectors.
- A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
